Dear Society.

You are the most unnerving, unacceptable, more bastardly forum of formal and informal discussion, but I'm not saying thank you because of your parks for me to play in during childhood, your roads that have lead me from point A to point B, your schools that have taught me how to be a person in terms of IQ, your government which has taught me the values of this country. and certainly not for environment you gave me for me to say now how much of a young scholar I am to walk on the steps of this great nation and live in a house where the light shines bright over this pad and paper! This is not a thank you for you to throw away or run through the shredder, I could give a damn less if you even read the first line or if you finish to the end. This thank you is not to be sent in the mail or put in the local paper, if it were it would probably be for April Fool's or be featured in the funny pages because that's how this writer is going to be reviewed. This thank you, this paper that has blood stains and coffee cup marks lining the edges, the lines, the pen, this thank you is for the opportunity you have given me to stand on your library steps in front of all these passing people to say “THANK YOU!!”. Thank you for allowing me these few minutes for you to read, even though you probably don't care. Thank you for being a bastard forum for discussion. Thank you for being nerving, acceptable and most honorably, thank you for pushing your pencils in your office while I go out and really make a person listen to untainted views without the incentive of money or fortune with fame. Tonight I'm going to sit in my office, which is nothing more than a few books, and I'm going to write you this letter to thank you for being what you are society.
